Warlords of Aternum is a turn-based strategy game where your job is to lead an army of humans in their fight against the orcs. You start out with just few troops at your disposal, but soon, you have the chance to lead many more soldiers.
The combats in Warlords are carried out by turns, on hexagon-shaped battlefields where you can move your characters. As usual in this type of game, each type of unit is especially effective against another type. Lancers are strongest against knights, infantry is strongest against lancers, and knights are strongest against infantry.
Battles in Warlords are pretty short, usually lasting no longer than two minutes. The most important thing is knowing the advantages and disadvantages of the different types of land. For example, it's best to attack from a hill, as well as defend yourself from a forest.
